Flower Children

Everyone knows that besides the bride all eyes are on the flower girls and ring bearers during a wedding ceremony. One of my favorite parts of designing for a wedding is getting all of the flowers ready for the miniature members of the wedding party - the flower girls have a very important job, but of course I'm biased. Here are a few suggestions for florals guaranteed to make the kids cuter than they already are!

For Flower Girls think outside the flower basket.

Floral wands... what little girl isn't thrilled by flowers and streamers? This option is is fun and makes them feel like princesses, the bride being the queen of course.

Floral halo... depending on the age of the girl, these are very cute and lend a whimsical vibe to your ceremony. If your flower girl is a little older (9-11 years of age) then opt for a beautiful, floral clip, or loose rosebuds nestled in the hair.

Floral kissing ball... this is a tightly packed sphere of flowers dangling from a ribbon.

Floral adorned wagon... this is an option you just have to consider if your flower girl is an infant. Have her escorted down the aisle in a wagon dripping with flowers. If your ring bearer is old enough, he can give her a ride!

Flowers aren't just for girls, here are some ideas for your handsome little ring bearers.

Ring box... drape it in fabric and top it off with an oversized floral bloom.

Floral garlands... have the ring bearers hold them and proceed down the aisle - a little parade!

Ring pillow... have it custom made to match the "tone" of the wedding. I recently saw one in pink dupioni with rhinestone detailing!

Boutonniere's... don't leave out this detail, they are the "little groomsmen".

And just to put your mind at ease, remember to not worry about the jewels. The ring bearers don't carry the actual rings!
