Shower Flowers

These days brides-to-be are thinking more and more about floral décor for their wedding showers. While it's not the big day, it's still an important day, and the flowers you choose can say a lot about you, or what you have in store for your guests on your wedding day.

Here are a couple of themes to think about if you want to give guests a sneak peak of what's to come...

  • Bird Cage Love... lots of brides are going for a whimsical and romantic look with birdcages! We have brides incorporating them into their shower and then bringing them back to use as table décor at the actual wedding.

  • Headed To The Tropics... maybe you are tying the knot in a tropical locale, but are having a shower at home with guests who can't make the trip. Throw a "tropical" shower and don't hold back! Bring in flats of sand, shells, beautiful orchids and send your guests away with flip flops as favors. They may not get to attend, but at least they can celebrate with you in advance!

Are you having an afternoon shower with the ladies, or an eco-chic wedding? If yes, then you have to try this look!

  • Herbal Gardens... keeping things a little more organic, make your centerpiece a gorgeous herbal garden complete with lavender, rosemary and accents of fresh floral blooms. Then have small terra cotta pots with corresponding herbs serve as place cards and favors.
