Although He and presumed fiancée Hazel Renee have yet to make an official announcement of the happy news, head coach Steve Kerr shared the news.
Have you ever had your boss spill a secret? That may have been what happened to three-time NBA champion and three-time All-Star Draymond Green, the star defender for the Golden State Warriors. Earlier this week, head coach Steve Kerr talked to reporters about the team’s recent extended weekend in Los Angeles. “The time’s been great,” he told a reporter. “A nice change of pace during the middle of the season, especially in mid-January. Beautiful weather here and lot of guys have brought family members. Draymond got engaged. A lot of great stuff."
He and presumed fiancée Hazel Renee have yet to make an official announcement of the happy news, but as they both have children from their previous relationships, they may be working to take care of their blended family first. The couple has been together since at least early 2018. Hazel is an actress who had a brief recurring role on season three of Empire but also appeared on Real Housewives of Atlanta due to her friendship with Kandi Burress.
Due to basketball season stretching from October to April, with playoffs and finals (which tend to be part of the Warriors schedule) not ending until June, it should be a safe bet to guess Draymond and Hazel will tie the knot in the summer or very early fall. Though we don’t know whether that will be in 2019 or 2020, we sure hope we’ll get to see the ring before then!
Other recent celebrity engagements include costars of The Orville, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Grimes, as well as Michael Clifford from 5 Seconds of Summer and influencer Crystal Leigh.
