While at a community happy hour in the summer of 2013, Allie Raymond received more than just discounted cocktails. Unexpectedly, she was smitten by a handsome man named Jason Frank who ordered a round of drinks and kindly offered her the “extra” one. She kept thinking about his smile, he kept thinking about her, and soon Allie and Jason were officially a couple. “To this day, his pearly whites are one of the many things I love about him,” Allie confirms with a smile.

Two years later, Allie and her sweetheart visited their favorite pumpkin patch – as they did every October. Only this time, their lives would change. While Allie was searching for the perfect pumpkin, Jason confirmed that he had already found the “perfect one” as he got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She excitedly shouted yes, and the planning process quickly occurred, starting with a fun-loving engagement session shot by Vue Photography.

Envisioning an industrial-chic wedding, Allie pursued timeless aesthetics for her special day with hues of white, ivory, blush, and champagne, as seen in the nosegays and floral arrangements. Greenery was also used in multiple elements to create a fresh, organic atmosphere. Twigs, lighting, farm tables, lanterns, and candles helped to achieve a classic, rustic ambience Allie dreamed of for their big day.

Allie and Jason opted for a traditional Jewish ceremony, but included many personal aspects that made it uniquely special. One distinctly rare and lovely inclusion was the rabbi reading from a bible that had been passed down generations in Jason’s family. “There was a handwritten list of births, marriages, and deaths, beginning in 1866,” explains Allie. “Our wedding was the newest addition to the list!”

Just as the couple had chosen to personalize certain Jewish wedding customs, they also had a fun time infusing their personalities into some of the details, particularly enjoying the play on words involving their surname: Frank. Groomsmen were gifted dress socks emblazoned with hot dogs, which resulted in much laughter during group photos. Additionally, two clever hash tags were created: #Franklyinlove and #soFrankinexcited – both respectively earned the amusement of loved ones throughout the evening.

Looking back, Allie confirms that she would not change a thing about her wedding: “I am so forever grateful to my amazing vendors and to my parents for allowing my vision of this perfect day become a reality. Both Jason and I agree that one of the most memorable parts of the day is when we took a second to put everything on pause and look out at all that was around,” the bride confides. “Each and every person in that room is someone that we love and that loves us… it was so incredible.”
