Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons, who met playing husband and wife on season two of Fargo, have been pretty coy about their relationship and recent engagement so far. But when the actress appeared on The Tonight Show, she spilled the beans – at least, a little bit. Kirsten is bashful, nervously giggling as host Jimmy Fallon asks about the proposal. She says she can hear her fiancé in her head whispering, “don’t say too much, babe!” We do learn that Jesse asked her father for his blessing, which is how the future bride had a hint her beau may be popping the question is soon. “[My dad] is a terrible liar!” laughs Kirsten.

Just like many non-famous couples, Kirsten and Jesse were friends for some time before beginning a relationship, but once they got together everything fell into place. Jimmy notes how it’s amazing that her role in Fargo not only garnered her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations, but was also what led her to the man she plans to spend her life with. Concurring with the host, Kristen jokes, “I’ll name the baby ‘Fargo Season Two!’”
