Carine began her career in fashion over 10 years ago when she moved to New York City to join the design team at AEFFE (the parent company of Moschino, Jean Paul Gaultier and Alberta Ferretti). When family concerns brought her back to Washington DC, she began working with Vera Wang, and was eventually hired away to Priscilla of Boston. After local success and recognition, and as her reputation grew, she was courted to Saks Fifth Avenue in Tyson's Corner to head the bridal salon. Carine's position at DC salons afforded her the opportunity to interface with the design community in NYC. Twice yearly the industry gathers for bridal fashion week where there are fashion shows, runways, models and designer parties.
