For the fall 2018 season, Rita Vinieris presented both her labels – Rivini and Alyne – together on the runway. Inspired by the modern woman, Vinieris gives her bridal collection a relaxed elegance. The designer was also inspired by athletics, showing her collection in a gym with plenty of athletic elements – case in point, a sports jersey-inspired lace dress that was quirky.
Key looks ranged from a contemporary satin gown with a taffeta twist drape to a delicate lace off-the-shoulder sheath. Although Vinieris had some interesting ideas, the visor hats and rose gold Nike sneakers were a bit of a distraction to those not accustom to avant garde.
