Maradee Wahl of Dear Maradee is a top bridal stylist, so she certainly knows the importance of fashion on a wedding day. From helping brides with choosing a gown, to accessorizing, to planning the ensembles of the bridal party, she is a go-to source for all things bridal. Not only does she offer expert advice by answering questions from real brides on InsideWeddings.com, but her YouTube channel entitled Dear Maradee Bride Guide provides another resource for fashion help. In this series, she chats with her past brides, as well as industry experts, to share tips and tricks throughout the planning process and wedding day. The stories shared will help brides-to-be as they determine their wedding style.

In the second episode, Maradee speaks with her bride Hannah, who she worked with on the day of and also attended the wedding as a guest. The video shares that Hannah first met Maradee while working as bridal consultant for Monique Lhuillier. "I already knew the dress that I wanted but what I knew was that I needed that expert who was going to be with me; I knew that was really important," shares Hannah of her decision to hire Maradee to assist with alterations and provide direction on the day of.

In fact, the bride was especially happy to have a bridal stylist on hand as she was getting ready. She explains how just before she was set to walk down the aisle, she felt something was missing from her gown. “You do feel different the day of the wedding. When you see everything – hair, makeup, flowers – you might change the way you feel, so it’s always good to have options,” says Hannah. Since she had an expert bridal stylist on hand, she was able to complete her look with no stress as Maradee brought a collection of ribbon sashes with her and sewed her favorite on the dress right before the ceremony.

Since the bride chose to not have any bridesmaids and instead allow them to enjoy the celebration as guests, she knew that having Maradee on hand would allow her to feel prepared for anything else that came her way, including bustling the gown before the reception. Watch the video below for more details about Hannah's wedding and tips to keep in mind for your own nuptials!
