The Anne Barge Spring 2017 collection is an interpretation of nature’s ethereal transition, which each gown inspired by the early blooms from winter becoming spring. The crystals and cascading pearls sparkled over silk crepe like frost adorning a garden during a crisp early spring morning.  Floral accents pair with embroidery to evoke the look of a romantic trellis, while Alençon lace appliqués trickle down layers of silk white chiffon and Italian crepe in feminine silhouettes. The new collection features 30 gowns that exude a timeless romance in a blend of the contemporary and classic.

Anne Barge has always featured designs inspired by vintage couture with a contemporary twist, which is evident in the way several of the gowns were styled for New York Bridal Week. The use of body jewelry displayed with “Sweet Pea”, “Cistena”, and “Linden” showcase how the gowns would work for brides influenced by the popular Jazz Age aesthetic.
