It was fitting that dreamy vines and flowers were painted on the backdrop of Monique Lhuillier's Fall 2016 bridal show. The designer said the collection was inspired by "an ethereal bride running through a garden," and indeed, a floral motif scampers through each fanciful design. Monique Lhuillier also plays with texture and volume, offering removable skirts and fabrics from traditional silks to light-as-air organzas.

Lace-embellished ball gowns give way to form-fitting dresses that can be accessorized with an overskirt – one skirt is covered in feathers, while another features layers of beige tulle. Floral appliqués are sprinkled throughout two ball gowns with sheer long sleeves, and satin rosettes peek out from between the layers of both a ball gown and an off-the-shoulder fit-and-flare wedding dress. Not to be missed is the ivory evening gown, which features sheer neckline, sleeves, and a skirt covered in eye-catching beading.
