Say goodbye to identical bridesmaid "uniforms!" Today, many brides are opting for mismatched bridesmaid gowns, which allow each of their 'maids to wear a dress that makes them feel confident, while still coordinating with the wedding colors. Your bridesmaids will be able to select dresses that complement their body types and styles, saving you from having to find a single gown that satisfies as many as 8 or 10 strong-willed women!

Even if your girls are wearing mismatched dresses, you'll still want them to stand out from the rest of the guests and complement your wedding décor. The key to making your bridesmaids look cohesive is to ensure that their outfits have at least one element in common. For example, ask each of your bridesmaids to choose a dress in a single color, like blush or white, or give them a range of colors that look pretty together and also complement your décor. Or, ask them to find dresses in the same length or neckline. You can even gift them with matching necklaces or shoes, and be sure to have them carry matching bouquets!
