Inspired by the enchanted illustrations in the pages of "East of the Sun; West of the Moon", Ines Di Santo's fall 2019 collection captured the essence of a modern fairy tale come to life. Her whimsical collection was a pure delight filled with the sophisticated elegance that Ines Di Santo does so effortlessly.
The designer showed plenty of color on the runway, from a dramatic constructed corset voluminous high-low gown with lavender, red, yellow, and pink 3D floral embroidery to a blue floral-embroidered off-the-shoulder plunging V-neck bodysuit with an attached mini skirt and detachable cascading train. For the bride who wants to wear the traditional bridal tones of whites and ivories, Ines Di Santo had plenty of fantastical gowns to choose from, case in point, an enchanting strapless ball gown with crystal embellishments and poetic sleeves.
The designer also launched her first jewelry collection, Ines X Cinder, and debuted it during her runway show. It was directly inspired by her modern fairy-tale collection. In some cases fairy tales do come true. See the gowns and jewelry from the designer's fall 2019 collections in the slideshow above!
