“Paris is always a good idea,” stated Audrey Hepburn’s titular character in the classic film Sabrina. The designers at Ivy & Aster are inclined to agree, which is why they took inspiration from the “City of Lights” for the Spring 2018 Collection. Each gown embraces the feminine, classy, and elegant look that comes to mind when one thinks of Parisian women. Lace, chiffon, and tulle were used to add softness to the clean lines and polished style of the dresses.

Black and white photography was used to showcase the timeless appeal of the collection, while the chic video shares the beauty of the ivory and blush hues used in the ensembles. The sleeveless “Martine” ball gown seems simple classic at first – with full skirt made from organza and tulle – but a side view reveals a surprise detail of lace connecting the bodice of the dress to its back – befitting the blend of structure and softness used throughout the collection.
