With 2018 came the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as the nuptials of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, making brides around the world desire a wedding style fit for royalty at their own celebrations. Though your ceremony won’t be taking place at Windsor Castle, there are still plenty of ways to feel like a queen on your big day – the most notable way is with a glorious ensemble. Renowned bridal designer Galia Lahav is known for creating gorgeous gowns featuring luxurious fabrics, intricate embroideries, and opulent appliqués, and the new fall 2019 collection was designed specifically with nobility in mind.

The “Alegria” collection – meaning happiness in Portuguese – designed by Galia Lahav and Sharon Sever was inspired by the romantic culture of Portugal and a vision of royalty. “This couture collection is inspired by the beautiful landmarks and palaces of the country – the colors of the ravishing azulejos everywhere you look, enticing romance, and rich traditions,” shares the design house. Since each dress was created with a regal Portuguese wedding in mind, the movement of the soft materials – featuring rich embroideries and lavish trains – will make brides feel magnificently elegant as they walk down the aisle or sway on the dance floor. Shimmering fabrics made of lace, tulle, and silk in a bold color palette of silver, blush, and dusty rose offer on-trend design elements as well as a timeless touch.
