For ethereal bohemian style with a "quintessentially British" flair, Temperley Bridal's Autumn/Winter 2016 Obelia collection presents elegantly draped dresses embellished with stunning details. The styles "fit within the eclectic bridal personalities – classic, glamorous, bohemian, or statement," designer Alice Temperley says, and indeed, the dresses would complement both formal affairs and casual, outdoor celebrations. "The Obelia collection is regal and ethereal with goddess-like delicate, floaty romantic dresses," she describes.
The dropped-waist "May" dress takes brides back to nature with a gold and white geometric feather pattern. Other designs offer a decidedly Art Deco or 1920s vibe, like the beaded "Tatiana" and "Savannah" dresses. For the most adventurous of brides, the embroidered "Cosima" top and high-waisted, wide-leg "Castalia" trousers are modern and chic. A bit of color can be found on the "Obelia" dress, in the form of a sheer overlay covered in a geometric pattern in green and blue. The most striking of the designs is surely the "Mirror Ball Dress," which is adorned with a stunning pattern of circles formed out of pieces of mirror.
