For the spring/summer 2017 season, Justin Alexander released new lines for each of his bridal collections: Justin Alexander and Justin Alexander Signature. The cohesive collections share a similar essence, both being inspired by the metropolitan woman, but the Signature designs lean more towards a seductive look, while the eponymous line features simpler details for timeless brides. Each line reinterprets classic silhouettes and clean finishes with sophisticated styles and carefully placed accents such as banding, embroidered straps, and unique back designs.
New colors and fabrics are the defining characteristics for both lines. Blush and sand offer alternatives to the classic white hues for brides who want to take a step away from tradition. The gowns are created with crepe, Mikado, silk dupion, bias-cut luxe charmeuse, and detailed embroidery. One such dress that features several of these elements is a V-neck top paired with a tea-length skirt – a look that is sure to please brides who desire vintage-inspired designs.
