When going about designing the new Modern Trousseau bridal gowns for the spring 2017 collection, founder and designer Callie Tein began asking herself “what if?” questions: “What if we combined delicate lace with the softest French tulle and designed a gown every bride could fall in love with?” “What if we embellished tulle with metallic thread and covered it with crystals and pearls?” and so on. What became of those inquiries were the eye-catching styles of the spring 2017 collection by Modern Trousseau – perfect for the sophisticated bride who has a flair for elegant, vintage-inspired designs.

Stay sweet with the 1950s-inspired strapless ball gown “Cora,” which features an embroidered tulle overlay and a full skirt with a lace-trimmed petticoat, or embody royalty with “Gala” – an Italian satin ball gown with an embossed floral motif, a fully pleated skirt, and an off-the-shoulder bodice. Stand out in the French alençon lace gown, “Marlon,” featuring a low back and French tulle sleeves trimmed in lace. See these styles and more in the slideshow above.
