13 Ways to Include Wood Details in Your Wedding

The perfect way to add a natural touch to your big day!

While the focus of wedding décor may be on flowers and linens, there are a lot of pieces that make up the design of your big day. Lucite, crystal, ceramic, and metals are all methods to tie together the aesthetic for the celebration, but those who desire rustic or boho-chic nuptials may be drawn to a more natural aesthetic: wood. Though you may initially think it is just suited for fall, depending on the stain and how the wood is used, it can blend together with décor for winter, spring, or summer as well. The natural material does not have to be limited to outdoor events, adding wooden elements helps to bring in an organic feel to an indoor ceremony or reception.

From the largest structures to the tiniest details, see the photos below for examples of how wood was used in real weddings. Click each picture to see more of the celebrations.
