4 Cocktails for Your Winter Wedding

Signature cocktails are one of our favorite wedding ideas, regardless of the season in which your nuptials occur. However, we have a few fabulous suggestions specifically designed for a winter wedding thanks to our friends at Van Gogh Vodka. Any one of these festive, colorful libations would be a delicious addition to your cocktail hour or wedding reception. Take a look at some of the recipes below to cross "finding the perfect cocktail" off of your wedding planning to-do list! 

CANDY CANE LANE
2-1/2 oz Van Gogh Blue Vodka
1 oz White crème de menthe
1/2 oz Peppermint schnapps Cream
Splash of Grenadine
Peppermint candy for garnish

Directions: Add a dash of grenadine into the bottom of a chilled martini glass and set aside. Pour the rest of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into the glass with grenadine to create a “swirl” effect. Garnish with peppermint candy.

HOT CARAMEL BUTTERED RUM
3 oz Ron Abuelo Aٌejo
1 oz Van Gogh Dutch Caramel Vodka
1/4 stick Unsalted Butter, softened
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Honey
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
1/2 tsp Nutmeg Cinnamon Stick

Directions: Combine all ingredients (excluding rum and vodka) into a hot drinking cup or mug. Mix together with a spoon then add Ron Abuelo Aٌejo and Van Gogh Dutch Caramel Vodka. Pour in hot water (1 cup or more to personal taste) and stir vigorously until the mixture has dissolved. Garnish with cinnamon stick.

THE RUDOLPH
1-1/2 oz. Ron Abuelo Aٌejo
2 oz. Cranberry Juice
1 oz. Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
10 fresh Raspberries
5 Mint Leaves
Dash Angostura Bitters
Ginger Ale

Directions: Muddle raspberry with the mint. Add the rest of the ingredients. Shake hard and strain into a highball glass and top with ginger ale. Garnish with raspberry and mint.

HOLIDAY MAPLE BASIL SOUR
1 1/2 oz. Van Gogh Rich Dark Chocolate Vodka
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. real maple syrup
3 large basil leaves

Directions: In a mixing glass, muddle the basil leaves to extract the flavor. Add remaining ingredients with ice and shake well. Pour into a rocks glass and garnish with a basil sprig.
