Happy Pi Day! Be Inspired to Include Pies in Your Wedding

View 9 pies to add to your reception dessert table.

Today, March 14th, is commonly known as "Pi Day' – a day to honor the mathematical constant, as the first three digits are 3.14 – people everywhere are taking this as an excuse to enjoy a slice of the delicious treat, including engaged couples! It may not be as classic as cake on a wedding day, but those who like to eschew tradition or simply want to offer a variety of confections for their guests may want to consider pie for their reception dessert table.

Without being too offbeat, it is still a quirkier way to enjoy a sweet treat than the traditional cake, and it's very easy to include a variety of flavors. Be inspired by the different ways pie was served at real weddings and styled shoots in the photos below. You may get ideas for your own menu, or perhaps just a craving for your dessert tonight. Either way, be sure to click on each picture for further inspiration for your nuptials!
