Kirsten Mundell wasn't able to dance with her father on her wedding day. So her father's friends came together to make sure she still experienced an unforgettable father-daughter dance.

Kirsten's father, a sheriff's deputy named Kent, was killed in the line of duty six years ago, Seattle's Komo-TV reported Monday. At Kirsten's wedding last Saturday, one of Kent's fellow police officers walked the bride down the aisle and also danced with her for the father-daughter dance. But during the dance, another officer who had also known Kent tapped Kirsten on the shoulder and said, "Can I cut in?"

"He said, 'There's a whole line of us.' And right as he said that is when the next officer cut in and I just broke down," Kirsten says. By the end of the song, she had danced with four officers, all former colleagues and friends of Kent.

Photographer Angela Lyons caught the emotional dance on camera and posted photos on her Facebook page Saturday, and the album has now been shared more than 6,700 times.

"I know they're always there for me if I need them. I never thought they'd just show up. It was the best wedding surprise ever," Kirsten shares.
