Spring has almost sprung! Here at Inside Weddings, that means it’s nearly time to celebrate the new season’s brides and grooms as they waltz down the aisle. While those who plan to marry in the next few months likely have all of their details hammered out, other couples have just recently become engaged and may be entertaining the idea of springtime nuptials. For those excited duos, March, April, and May can serve as incredible inspiration for the planning process to come.

One of the most important aspects of any wedding is it’s chosen color palette, and with spring being considered the start of the traditional “wedding season,” you can imagine the plethora of hue options it affords. You and your partner could get slightly overwhelmed with your multitude of tone choices, so let us make the experience a little easier. While many different colors can complement a spring wedding beautifully, we absolutely adore these four hues and the ways in which they can enhance your design and décor.

BLUSH

Perhaps the most classic of spring wedding colors, blush works on a variety of levels. It’s the perfect tone for wedding party ensembles – bridesmaid dresses and men’s accoutrements alike – and adds a sweet and simple feminine touch to décor, bringing out the sunny romance in everything.

GREEN

This vibrant color represents birth and growth – and it is also Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2017 – which plays into your entrance into married life perfectly. Spring is an idyllic time to incorporate not only fresh foliage, but the tone itself in linens, writing, and more to complement the verdure.

IVORY

While pure white is beautiful for a snowy winter wedding, a soft ivory does wonders for a warm springtime affair. This muted alabaster hue mixes well with all colors and occurs organically in nature quite often. Use it as your neutral base throughout the big day and you’ll evoke a classic and chic look.

BROWN

The inclusion of light-hued wood, wrought iron, and clay elements into your spring nuptials will be the touch of warm rustic-chic to your décor you didn’t know you needed. While many believe this color to be synonymous with a fall wedding, we think it’s earthy tone and natural feel fit expertly in a sunnier event.
