Fancy a wedding in a castle, à la Lady Mary and Matthew Crawley of Downton Abbey? Consider Belvoir Castle, a 1,000-year-old estate located in the English countryside, which provides the opportunity for brides and grooms to wed in a historic, fairy-tale setting.

The castle offers multiple spaces for weddings within its walls, including the Guardroom (the grand entrance of the castle) and the Ballroom, which seats up to 120 guests. These rooms feature all of the classic details expected of a medieval estate, such as high ceilings, fireplaces, stained-glass windows, and gothic archways.

Couples who wish to celebrate outdoors can choose the Lakeside Marquee, a tent with a sprawling view of rolling hills and the castle on the horizon. The tent can be adapted and designed to fit the style and size of your wedding, with up to 500 guests permitted.

After the festivities, newlyweds may retire to one of the castle's stunning bedrooms, including the Duchess' Bedroom, the Chinese Bedroom, the Pink Bedroom, or the Tapestry Room.

Prices available upon request. For more information about weddings at Belvoir Castle, visit belvoircastle.com/weddings
