Introduced through mutual friends during their college years, Tomasina Arrigo and Trenton Fowler’s love story began in a setting that felt effortless and familiar. What started as a casual connection quickly revealed something far more meaningful. “The most memorable would be knowing I was going to love him for the rest of my life right then and there,” Tomasina shares, recalling the moment she first met Trenton. For Trenton, the feeling was just as immediate. “Not being able to take my eyes off of her all evening” remains etched in his memory of that first encounter.
That certainty only grew stronger with time, ultimately leading to a proposal as memorable as their connection. In what Tomasina believed was the start of a birthday celebration with friends, Trenton surprised her with a private moment at Acrisure Stadium where the NFL Pittsburgh Steelers play. Standing on the 50-yard line, he asked her to spend forever with him.
Having visited Nemacolin since childhood, Tomasina held a deep personal connection to the destination, and once she and Trenton experienced it together, the choice felt undeniable. “We knew right away there was nowhere else for us to look,” she shares. Set against the rolling landscape of Farmington, Pennsylvania, the venue offered the perfect canvas for their celebration.
A palette of soft whites and blues guided the design, allowing the surrounding greenery to enhance the overall aesthetic. “I gave Joe Mineo [of Joe Mineo Creative] a vision, and he just took control from there and made my dreams come to life,” expresses the bride. Lush vanilla florals framed the aisle and altar, creating a mesmerizing environment whilst circular crystal chandeliers and delicate draping transformed the space into a dreamlike garden setting.
The bride wore a fitted gown adorned with delicate beading that shimmered with every step. Illusion sleeves added a feminine touch, while a subtle train completed the elegant look. As Tomasina made her way down the aisle, all attention shifted to the emotional gravity of the moment – a sentiment Trenton later described as one of the most unforgettable of the day. “Seeing my wife for the very first time on our wedding day walk down the aisle was very moving,” confides the groom of the memory he says he will carry with him forever.
“I gave Joe Mineo [of Joe Mineo Creative] a vision, and he just took control from there and made my dreams come to life.”
Following the ceremony, guests transitioned into a grand reception that embodied the couple’s vision of black-tie elegance. The space was transformed into an impressive environment, where cascading white floral installations and wow-worthy arrangements filled the room with a range of interesting texture and depth. “Voluminous flower arrangements filled the whole room,” Tomasina describes of the beautiful scene. One of the most striking design elements was the custom dance floor – a glass-like mosaic that mirrored upward, visually connecting floor to ceiling and reinforcing the sense of grandeur throughout the space.
Music played a central role in shaping the atmosphere of the evening. A dynamic blend of a DJ and live musicians created a layered sound experience. “The entertainment was immaculate. The variety, range, energy, and tone of every single song played reflected my wife and me,” Trenton confirms of the surreal experience.
At the center of the reception stood a five-tier wedding cake, designed with a marble-inspired finish and adorned with delicate floral accents. Its sculptural appearance mimicked the refined aesthetic of the celebration while serving as a focal point within the space.
Reflecting on their wedding, Tomasina and Trenton both share a sense of completeness, as each detail was thoughtfully executed. “There isn’t one detail that’s not memorable,” Tomasina says. “I will be on cloud nine for the rest of my life.” The newlyweds offer advice grounded in their experience. “Hire a wedding planner and never look back!” urges the bride, who loved working with Nicole McCann of Exhale Events. “We 100% went with that advice and it was the best.”
