After meeting at a family member’s house, Craig Gonzales was sure to follow up and call the beautiful woman with whom he was instantly smitten. Stephanie Luna felt the same way after their first evening together. “We had so much fun!” she remembers. The initial chemistry resulted in a romantic relationship, and on Christmas morning, Craig proposed to his beloved.

“I realized I wanted to propose when I understood that there was nobody in this world who is like her. Not only is she beautiful, but she is also very thoughtful, understanding, and has a great personality that everyone wants to be around,” Craig confides. “I knew pretty quickly that she was The One.”

The pair felt no rush to set a date for their nuptials and enjoyed selecting the details of their elegant affair as a couple over the course of almost two years. With the guidance of the highly acclaimed planning team at International Event Company, Stephanie and Craig arranged for a gorgeous event with thoughtful details and live entertainment for their loved ones.

The bride didn’t have a specific location in mind for their fall celebration, but she was certain she wanted the ceremony to take place in a garden with an abundance of warm hues for the color palette. Stephanie and Craig settled on a posh hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills.

The garden area of the property was draped in billowing airy vanilla fabric, while the aisle was perfectly lined in lush floral arrangements in shades of autumn. A dazzling chandelier suspended overhead was also adorned with fresh greenery and blooms, and thousands of ivory roses formed a stunning arch for the vow exchange.

Three darling flower girls in frothy white dresses followed bridesmaids wearing copper-colored gowns for the procession. The groom, who excitedly waited for his bride, looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo with a cool velvet jacket. He was awestruck as Stephanie – wearing a feminine lace bridal gown – made her grand entrance on the arms of her father and stepfather. “Watching her walk down the aisle was one of my favorite moments of the day,” he confides.

“It was incredible and everything I dreamed.”

As guests shifted to the reception, they found their seating assignments on a table bedecked in florals a lovely shade of rust. A lone arrangement of white roses and colorful fall verdure accented the grand display. The pathway leading to the ballroom was heavily decorated in impressive flower installations. “It was incredible and everything I dreamed,” emphasizes the bride of the artistic presentations.

Opulent tablescapes were embellished with collections of both high and low floral masterpieces in muted fall tones – ranging from off-white and pumpkin to apricot and chestnut. “I thought our wedding flowers were very unique… I really loved the warm colors,” says Craig of their choices. Votives and pillar candles helped to create a romantic ambience, while customized menu cards sat atop bronze charger plates complemented with bullion flatware.

Just before the new Mr. and Mrs. were announced to the room full of friends and family, the couple’s son danced his way into the reception. “The crowd erupted with applause,” remembers Craig of the delightful moment. A live band was definitely a highlight of the festivities. “They were so wonderful that everyone was dancing all night!” confirms the groom.

The newlyweds urge others who are engaged to really have the wedding they desire. “Don’t let anyone influence you to add something you don’t want,” notes the groom. As for Stephanie, she suggests brides and grooms trust their planner and wedding team. “They are professionals and have it all figured out!” she affirms. “My wedding was the perfect day.”
