One year after being introduced by a mutual friend, Stacy Lee and John Niemiec asked her to officiate their wedding. “I had always loved weddings as a kid, so I was definitely the bride that had read every issue of every wedding magazine before I even got engaged,” smiles Stacy, who hired Tessa Brand of Tessa Lyn Events to plan her dream day. “As soon as we hired Tessa, I knew I could leave everything up to her and the day would be perfect.”

Since the couple placed high importance on the food, dancing, and ease for their guests, they chose the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, as the luxurious property was recommended by their planner for the delicious cuisine. “The Four Seasons staff hugged us, greeted us with Champagne, and the hotel had a really fun and upbeat buzz about it,” shares Stacy. “Most of all, the ballroom was gorgeous and the service level was impeccable.”

The details of the day featured elegant arrangements in a rich color palette that fit the bride's vision, as well as modern guest seating for the reception by Chameleon Chair Collection. “I knew from the beginning that I wasn't a white-and-blush bride, and because we were getting married in February, I wanted rich, romantic colors and for the day to feel like a cozy winter wedding - even though we were in LA,” she adds. The décor featured hues of burgundy and plum accented with mixed metals, luxurious velvets, and beautiful feather accents. “Everything was unique, fun, elegant, and vibrant, which really reflected us and how much joy we felt the day of!” Stacy notes.

Since the enjoyment of their loved ones was of the utmost importance to the pair, they hired a band from Bob Gail Music and Entertainment to keep the party going all night long. “The band was one of the first things we booked, and that paid off big time,” smiles the bride. “I still have people telling me how great the band was. It was an amazing party!”

Both the bride and groom agree the day was everything they hoped for and more. “The whole wedding felt really reflective of us as individuals and as a couple,” confirms Stacy. “The day was so perfect, and I was so happy that there's nothing I would change about it.”
