Get a Glimpse of Whitney Port's Palm Springs-Inspired Invitations
Fashion designer and reality star Whitney Port's wedding gown was predictably chic and trendsetting, so does it come as any surprise that her invitations were also completely gorgeous? Port collaborated with Wedding Paper Divas to design an eclectic, modern invitation suite that complemented her wedding venue in Palm Springs, California. Port married fiancé Tim Rosenman earlier this month.
The save-the-dates took a more whimsical approach to Port's desert-chic vibe, with colorful painted palm trees, modern calligraphy techniques, and neon edges. The bride and groom took the save-the-date one step further by incorporating their casual personalities: we love the playful use of the word "deets" instead of "details" and the rainbow monogram!
The invitations took a more classic approach while still retaining the desert flare. The letterpressed design featured an Art Deco-inspired font backed by a delicate palm tree pattern, accented with gold geometric shapes and the couple's monogram set in a metallic square.
This wasn't Port's first experience creating wedding invitations. Last year, she designed a collection of suites for Wedding Paper Divas, offering styles adorned with a variety of designs from paint splatters to hand-drawn flowers and leaves. See the collection below!
