Angel Sanchez's fall 2016 collection is, quite literally, fresh as a daisy! The clean, modern designs all feature a sprinkling of flowers and petals which provide a dose of whimsy and fun. Hints of blush add color in the form of ribbon belts, which provide a lovely contrast to the bright white dresses. An architectural sensibility pervades the collection, as the gowns are sculpted rather than draped.

The floral motif is incorporated utilizing a few different design techniques. Hand-cut flowers pop off gowns, lining illusion sleeves and necklines, crisp bodices, and even a pencil skirt. A strapless, tailored jumpsuit bursts with floral flavor thanks to laser-cut appliqués that cover the bodice. A particular standout gown features a layered bodice reminiscent of petals and pink hand-cut flowers peeking out of the back. Embroidery offers another vehicle for floral details, as in the ball gown with a cascading ruffle overlay and embroidered bodice. Another unique design features floral embroidery on the illusion tank neckline and a textured skirt that is gathered with a pink ribbon.
