Calling her fall 2016 collection "Hotel Madrid Part Two," Vera Wang continues the mysterious, Spain-inspired aesthetic she created for her spring 2016 collection, "Hotel Madrid." Touches of black run through the collection, as do sexy cutouts, illusion sleeves, and intricate passementerie placed strategically on the body, honoring women's power and sensuality. As Wang describes, "From Carmen to The Infanta, all extraordinary women with extraordinary lives."

Nearly every look is accented with an oversized bow, placed on the shoulder or tying off a belt around the waist. Dramatic skirts utilize ostritch feathers, tulle, and taffeta for volume. And yes, black details are scattered amongst the designs, but they look more runway than somber. Particularly memorable are the long-sleeved ball gown with a black cummerbund waist and a clinging crepe gown with a black bow on the shoulder. Of course, a bride looking for an even stronger fashion statement will love the black silk taffeta gown with a high-low skirt and high collar. Not for the shrinking violet, these gowns will only do for a bride who prides herself on turning heads. See the entire collection in the slideshow above!
