Dana Pusateri and Joey Giunta chose a historic museum as the setting for their Palm Beach wedding, embracing the storied architecture and coastal grandeur of the property. With its soaring arched ceilings, glass-paned conservatory, marble columns, and sweeping views of the Intracoastal, the venue offered a naturally regal foundation for the couple’s wedding celebration.
Guests were invited by way of an elegant display of custom stationery that captured the feel of a Palm Beach weekend: soft greens, coastal blues, illustrations of palms, and classic typography. It was the perfect personalized design to tease the betrothed’s refined aesthetic. “One of our favorite details from the day was the custom toile pattern Ceci New York designed,” says Dana. It featured symbolic illustrations unique to the couple, and the artwork was transformed into bespoke cocktail-hour linens that the newlyweds can enjoy in their home for years to come.
The ceremony took place inside the museum’s luminous glass-enclosed pavilion, where a mirrored aisle reflected the architecture overhead. Rows of white chairs framed the space in a crisp, cohesive layout, allowing the structure itself to anchor the experience. Sleek vases of long-stemmed white calla lilies lined the aisle in neat, sculptural groupings.
At the front of the room, a modern ceremony structure draped in vanilla blooms hovered above the couple, its clean silhouette balancing the ornate arches behind it. The mix of reflection, varied height, and monochromatic florals gave the space a gorgeous, gallery-like atmosphere.
Dana’s bridal look matched the aesthetic’s sense of royalty: a structured, feminine gown with a wide neckline and an effortless silhouette. She was resplendent and wowed guests as she made her grand entrance. Her bridesmaids wore pleated metallic dresses in warm champagne shades, each holding simple calla lily stems – a subtle yet striking detail that tied the fashion story directly into the décor.
“The wedding was a beautiful example of how thoughtful design can enhance, rather than overshadow, an extraordinary venue.”
Following the ceremony, guests transitioned into the museum’s grand hall, where the reception design layered warm details and architectural symmetry. Long tables and round tables were arranged in a balanced floor plan, each dressed in textured linens in soft, neutral tones. Tall glass candlesticks rose above the floral arrangements, whilst the museum’s chandeliers and arched windows boasted their own beauty.
The blooms shifted into a more varied palette for the reception – soft peach, ivory, blush, and delicate greenery – all styled in low, abundant arrangements that complemented the room without overwhelming it. Crystal glassware, custom menus, and understated place settings added fine detail to the tables, reflecting the overall sense of a modern classic.
A notable element of the evening was the culinary presentation. At cocktail hour, servers passed trays featuring elevated bites – including caviar presented in gold tins and freshly made bowls of pasta – offering guests an indulgent, playful moment before dinner. The reception space glowed with candlelight, its warmth enhanced by the museum’s stone walls and wrought-iron accents, a beautifully romantic setting for a multiple-course dinner service.
As night fell, portraits of the couple were taken outside beneath swaying palms and the dark Palm Beach sky. The dramatic contrast between Dana’s luminous gown and the surrounding landscape produced some of the evening’s most striking imagery.
“Dana and Joey’s wedding was a beautiful example of how thoughtful design can enhance, rather than overshadow, an extraordinary venue,” says their wedding planner, Jessica Masi of Masi Events. The newlyweds were thrilled their celebration included all of their loved ones, while also capturing the timeless beauty of Palm Beach through a contemporary lens. It absolutely resulted in the perfect day!
