While most of the attention around Valentine's Day is placed upon couples, the holiday also marks a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everyone you love in your life. So whether you're planning an elegant dinner for your beloved and/or your nearest and dearest, or you're organizing a fun "Galentine's Day" party with your besties or a themed bridal shower with your bridesmaids and loved ones, we're sharing plenty of inspiration from a fun two-table shoot led by wedding and event planner Michelle Durpetti of Michelle Durpetti Events!

"I absolutely love this holiday – not for the chocolate or gifts (those are lovely though!), but for the chance to celebrate my loved ones. From my husband to my gal pals to my horses to my parents, I always think of this day as a way to share love with everybody," muses Michelle Durpetti. "Love is grand. Love is life. And for me, love is also a gorgeous table!"

Hoping to capture the many kinds of love we share in our lives, Michelle and a team of creative, talented event professionals created two different tablescapes at Gene & Georgetti Chicago for whatever type of celebration you're hosting – "one perfect for dinner for two for sweethearts and another more festive for the 'galentines' in your life, whomever they may be," adds Michelle of the dual table designs topped with rentals from The Festive Frog.

"We worked with bold pinks that popped alongside softer tones and incorporated purples and reds too... The idea was to have depth and lots of detail!"

The first romantic tablescape showcased elegant textured linens by Windy City Linen topped with fine china and floral-print plates, colorful red goblets that also held place cards, and golden flatware at each setting. "We worked with bold pinks that popped alongside softer tones and incorporated purples and reds too," Michelle describes of the décor and florals by Fleur de Lis Florist. "The idea was to have depth and lots of detail!"

Centerpieces featured roses, tulips, and additional blooms in various tones of pink and red, displayed next to garnet taper candles in crystal candleholders. While the menu designed by Amore Creative presented formal dinner selections such as filet mignon and cacio e pepe, fun desserts including heart-shaped and "LOVE" cookies by ECBG Cake Shop were also provided. To continue the joyous décor, a neon sign as well as a balloon installation by My Celebrate Shop was added to the dark backdrop of the venue, heart-shaped balloons were placed nearby, and Ghost chairs from Hall's Rental were topped with pink faux-fur cushions.

To celebrate "Galentine's Day" with lively décor, the second table was adorned with a lighter linen that popped against the red rose petals and confetti sprinkled atop the table. White china and floral-print plates were also used on this tablescape; however, a bolder piece was added on top that held colored glassware displaying unique desserts. Smaller centerpieces were arranged to highlight tulips and roses with accents of fresh verdure, and a single-tier chocolate cake embellished with pink butterflies provided a delicious treat for the gals to enjoy.

"Thanks to a fantastic line up of creative talent, we celebrated this holiday in grand style with our imaginations running wild with love! I was so excited that every single creative on this shoot is a small business, owned by a woman," shares Michelle. "The color palette, the fun and festive décor, and everything that inspired me to create this was coming from a positive and empowered place, so I felt like [everything] was meant to be!"
