Photographs are part of what makes your wedding timeless – looking back on your big day for years to come is such a gift. When putting together your shot list, or the planned locations and poses you want your photographer to include, you often consider the still-life masterpieces you know and love: a sweet kiss shot, the bride surrounded by her smiling ‘maids, etc. However, what you often do not account for are the in-between pictures your photographer might take while you’re in motion. Action shots are a crowd favorite, and though they can’t always be specifically planned, that’s part of their charm.
From the moment your photographer arrives to the moment you leave, they are snapping photos of the hustle and bustle of your day. While posed pictures are lovely – and necessary! – the action shots really capture your true, unplanned, “unposed” happiness. Flip through some of our favorite chronological action shots below from real weddings to get excited about your own candid pictures. Click each photo for further wedding inspiration!
