Fans of the hit NBC drama were thrilled to see Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) tie the knot at the bride’s family cabin in the Poconos. Befitting the location, the décor of the day had a rustic elegance to it. The couple exchanged vows beneath a whitewashed wooden structure draped with dusty rose fabric. Greenery intermixed with blush and ivory flowers also adorned the altar.

Bridesmaids got ready in a makeshift bridal suite inside the cabin, decorated with a string banner reading “Katoby” – the newlyweds’ portmanteau name. Kate’s brothers Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) planned the big day, with Randall even putting together the gift bags given to each guest. After it was discovered that their late father’s T-shirt – which was going to be the "something old" – didn’t make the trip to the woods, the brothers gathered everything in the cabin that belonged to their dad Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) for their sister to choose from. Ultimately, a simple screwdriver with a wooden handle blended surprisingly well into the cascading bouquet that Kate carried down the aisle.

The bridal gown was perfect for the setting, both romantic and boho-chic. The flowy dress featured delicate lace, a layered skirt, half sleeves, and a V-neckline. Kate didn’t wear a veil, but instead opted for a bejeweled hairpiece to pin her soft waves to one side.

Following the ceremony, attendees gathered in the reception tent. This was no plain white tent, however. A pattern of golden stars covered the ceiling, with tassles embellishing the trim along the top of the wall. Toby’s parents (played by TV veterans Dan Lauria and Wendie Malick) may have had their doubts about the wedding, but there’s no doubting that it was beautiful!
