Delightful Gowns Adorned with Butterflies by Jim Hjelm

Modern brides will find beautiful, sparkling gowns to choose from among Jim Hjelm's 2016 bridal collection. Non-traditional details and embellishments are favored, as well as contemporary silhouettes that keep brides looking youthful and fresh. There's even a dose of color for brides who want to skip the traditional white hue in favor of a unique shade of pink or even blue.

A butterfly motif can be found throughout several styles. A gauzy blue ball gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves is adorned with scattered silvery butterflies; a high-necked sheath is embellished with butterfly appliqués; and a champagne A-line dress features silver embroidered butterflies across the bodice and waist. Another standout style is a ball gown with a voluminous tulle skirt showcasing a sparkling butterfly-inspired pattern that covers the bodice. Floral elements are also on display throughout the collection, as seen in a minidress featuring a beaded rose pattern and sheer overskirt as well as a sheer netted dress with a hem adorned with flower appliqués.
