Brides who are tying the knot close to home can still choose a gown that embodies a traveling spirit. Eugenia Couture's fall 2016 collection was designed for the modern and contemporary bride who wants a destination look even if she's not having a destination wedding, says designer Barbara Kavchok.

Ball gowns and classic silhouettes are embellished with embroidery, lace appliqués, and beading, with a floral motif utilized throughout many of the designs. "It's all about clean lines and classic elements with a twist to make it fresh and contemporary. At times it was difficult to resist the urge to add more lace, ruffles, beading, etc., but I think the result is gowns that are powerful because they have a fresh simplicity,” Kavchok explains.

Florals are front and center in the beautiful "Rosalia" satin ball gown, which features handpainted pink roses over the high-low skirt. A ruffled flower on the hip of the "Audrey" gown complements the rose brocade fabric. Blush rosebud details are sprinkled on the lace and organza off-the-shoulder "Sasha," and crystals, beading, and flowers embellish the A-line "Elizabeth."
