Katerina Bocci debuted her 2017 collection at New York Bridal Fashion Week, in what the Albania-born, Italy-raised designer considers her most luxurious line to date. The gowns are both avant-garde and romantic, using the classic feminine ball gown, A-line, and mermaid silhouettes. “My designs have always accentuated the beauty and softness of a woman’s body, so she looks and feels absolutely gorgeous on one of the most important days of her life,” Bocci says. She uses impeccable hand beading and Swarovski crystals to create opulent finishes for gowns made from silk organza, French laces, and tulle.

Over half of the 15-dress collection is made up of ball gowns. Naturally the most dramatic of which is the final look of the line – “Amele.” The showstopper has a sweetheart, illusion neckline and embroidered nude lace with crystal embellishments from the top of the décolletage through the end of the train. Long, illusion sleeves flare at the elbows to show off the intricate scroll-patterned lace. See the entire collection from the runway in the slideshow above!
