When friends and family begin asking questions about your planning process – believe us, if they haven’t begun yet, it’ll right around the corner! – they typically have a set list of queries: What kind of attire do you want? Where will it be? What are your colors? Though well-intended, these questions have a tendency to stress out the bride and groom, making them rush to make big decisions so they’ll have something solid with which to respond. Hopefully, engaged pairs will take some deep breaths, sit down together – perhaps with a wedding planner, and make these choices as a team. One of those decisions, of course, being your wedding color palette.
Guests get a feel for your wedding colors when they first receive your save the date or formal invitation, so making this choice before sending out your mail is important. Though not often thought of immediately as a wedding color, blue is a fantastic option for a variety of nuptial styles. Need examples?
