The inclusion of natural elements in wedding décor has been a popular notion for many years. Brides have carried bouquets of fragrant blooms down the aisle, reception tables have seen a number of creative centerpieces featuring stunning flowers, and some sprigs have even been worn by the couple of honor in the forms of boutonnieres and floral crowns. However, while these colorful pieces are striking additions to any wedding – often tying in the chosen color scheme – sometimes, it’s the accenting foliage that truly “makes” the arrangements.
Flowers are often put in the spotlight in every perennial aspect of the nuptials, but fear not, boho pairs: greenery is beginning to receive the accolades it deserves in modern events. We are starting to see leafy elements highlighted in table arrangements, unconventional accents, and more. Even those who have chosen to host fêtes with a glamorous or contemporary motif are finding ways to bring the outdoors into their décor.
