Though Taylor Hayden Rogers and Matthew McBryde live in Little Rock, Arkansas, they chose their shared hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, for the location of their luxurious winter nuptials. Desiring a traditional ceremony, the bride and groom exchanged vows at a church stunning enough to not require decoration, yet further embellished with gorgeous vanilla-toned florals at the altar and along the pews.

Once inside the ballroom for the reception, guests were in awe of the décor inspired by the bride’s vision of a “classy and elegant” celebration. Classic white and ivory florals were displayed in large glass vases dripping with crystals throughout the ballroom. Golden details, such as modern chairs, candleholders, and flatware, added a sophisticated warmth to the space. To personalize the fête, the couple’s custom wedding crest was displayed in several areas. “The ballroom was everything we had dreamed of and more,” shares Taylor. “It was beautiful.”

Family and friends mingled as servers provided tray-passed canapés, including elevated BLT hors d’oeuvres and miniature grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters. For dinner, loved ones enjoyed a sit-down dinner service offering a marinated heirloom tomato salad for the first course, a duo entrée of beef tenderloin and sea bass, and slices from both the bride’s towering champagne-and-strawberry confection as well as the hazelnut-crunch groom’s cake designed to look like a Yeti cooler with personalized stickers. “The food was to die for!” exclaims the bride.

A live band, who performed in front of a luxurious hedge wall embellished with florals, kept the party going throughout the evening as attendees danced the night away on the custom dance floor featuring the pair’s crest. “They were so fun and had everyone engaged all night long,” adds the bride of the entertainment group. To provide further activities and offerings, guests enjoyed libations served from a martini bar complete with an ice luge as well as a cigar bar offering hand-rolled cigars. “[It] was a huge hit for all the gentlemen,” notes Taylor of the latter.

For the couple, their special moment occurred together at the end of the night. “We were standing in the corner of the ballroom looking at everyone we love having the time of their lives and they were all there to celebrate us… I just remember standing in the corner of the room, holding my husband’s hand, thinking ‘this is a dream,’” she smiles.
