The last frost, as winter transitions into spring, was the inspiration behind Liancarlo's Spring 2020 collection as the design team created a whimsical line-up filled with blooming floral motifs and a hint of shimmering sequins throughout the collection. Staying true to founder Carlos Ramirez's vision for the brand, the design team experimented with fabrics, texture, and prints. The collection was filled with beautiful floral confections: a pale pink floral-printed tulle overskirt layered over a strapless column gown, a floral-printed silk organza and illusion tulle sweetheart ball gown with detachable sleeves, and a hand-painted rose organza off-the-shoulder gown.

Liancarlo also played with sparkle and shine in a nod to the last frost of winter, per the collection theme. Case in point, a beaded 3D floral-and-branch embroidered sweetheart bustier gown layered over tulle and sequins. The team also created an intricate platinum floral embroidery on an illusion tulle V-neck gown that created just a hint of shine. While there were plenty of feminine and romantic creations, Liancarlo's spring collection also offered a few options for the minimalist bride that ranged from a matte crepe off-the-shoulder sheath with a Chantilly lace illusion V-front to a silk mikado plunging V-neck gown with a criss-cross back.
