With spring right around the corner, planning brides and grooms may be looking for some fresh inspiration for their wedding décor. While these duos are searching for items that will complement the motifs they have in mind, they should also be considering their overall color palette and what other hues may accent the scheme. Finding the perfect secondary tones can be a challenge, as some colors clash while others work wonderfully. Two of our favorite accent hues for light and airy springtime weddings are pink and green.

While a delicious watermelon might come to mind when you first hear this combination, the varying shades of both colors allow this mixture to take on different tones for any event. Darker greens paired with vibrant pinks will exude a tropical feel, while blush and olive lend themselves to a softer, more classic look. See examples below from real weddings and styled shoots to gain some ideas, and be sure to click on each photo for further inspiration.
