Lush greenery. Vibrant blooms in shades of pink, purple, and yellow. Breezy silhouettes and feminine style. The qualities of a bohemian wedding appeal to brides and grooms who desire a simple, natural celebration that focuses on their beautiful surroundings and their love for each other. Boho brides aren't at home in a formal ballroom or traditional satin gown; instead, these brides gravitate towards outdoor venues, light and airy dresses, delicate décor, and soft, romantic lighting. The result: a relaxing, intimate wedding that joins nature and elegance.

Any boho wedding begins with a lush venue featuring great views of trees, mountains, and rolling fields. Display flowers in rustic or antique-style vessels, taking care to choose flowers that appear freshly picked from a garden. Finish with homey décor and a cake adorned with fresh flowers and fruit. Below, we've rounded up images from glorious bohemian weddings that serve up fairy-tale inspiration for anyone who desires a serene celebration surrounded by nature. A Bohemian-Inspired Wedding Shoot in an Enchanted Forest
After discovering an enchanted forest-like setting on the idyllic 200 acres belonging to a bed and breakfast in Ford City, Pennsylvania, the designers of this styled shoot selected a “Wandering Nomad” theme. "We’ve each had quite a few brides and grooms who have expressed a longing desire to detail their celebrations in a bohemian style, but so often, couples hold back because it can seem like an unattainable vibe and feel overwhelming," shares Veronica of Veronica Varos Photography. “So, we wanted to create a bohemian wedding inspiration session to inspire couples and to show them that it is something they can pull off beautifully.”

Spring Garden Wedding in Montecito, California
The bride’s vision of a “secret garden” ceremony came to life amid wrought-iron stands strung with velvety roses, frothy white orchids, fluffy hydrangea blossoms, and textural foliage accented with luxuriant figs and baby artichokes. Shades of cream, blush, champagne, lily green, and antique gold created the perfect palette against the luxurious environment of the ranch venue. The evening soirée was set up to appear like an outdoor residence, with chandeliers suspended from a large oak tree and a striking variety of table shapes and centerpiece designs coordinated by theme.

Romantic Woodland-Inspired Atlanta Wedding with Natural Details
Natural foliage along with a color palette of earthy neutrals and delicate pastels established an ethereal theme that inspired the décor for both the ceremony and the reception. The bride was a vision of innocence in a vintage-inspired sheath gown by Claire Pettibone adorned with winding vines and a dainty floral motif. The ballroom of a luxurious hotel was effortlessly transformed into an exquisite woodland for the nature-inspired reception that followed.

Tone It Up Trainer Katrina Hodgson's Shabby Chic Malibu Wedding
“We wanted our ceremony and reception décor to be a reflection of our home,” says bride Katrina Hodgson. “We have a beachy-antique style and love soft hues of greens and corals,” which blended seamlessly with their vision for the seaside nuptials surrounded by nature. Some décor elements, including trinkets and photos, were borrowed from the couple’s home, and other items, such as chaises and chairs, were purchased from antique fairs and implemented into the bride and groom's home décor after the wedding.

Green & Yellow Rustic Farm Wedding in North Carolina
The bride and groom love the mountains and wanted a true outdoor wedding with a simple, bohemian feel, so they chose the green meadows and mountain views of a farm in Asheville, North Carolina, for their celebration. The couple exchanged vows in an open field decorated with yellow blooms and a rustic metal arch covered in greenery. The reception was held in a gorgeous barn featuring high ceilings, a stone fireplace, and custom decorations including peace signs, burlap table runners, light fixtures made of twigs, and yellow and green flowers.
