When planning the shots for your wedding photo album, your photographer will be sure to include the details, special moments – like the "first look," first kiss as husband and wife, and the first dance – as well as all of the joyous parts of the celebration in between. One element of the wedding album that we particulary love – especially on Mother's Day – is the moments shared between mothers and their sons and daughters getting married. If you have a good relationship with your mom, we encourage you to make sure you get a number of shots with her. After all, it's her special day too, watching her child get married to the love of their life.
From sweet, candid moments in the bridal suite, to making sure you get an image of your family's three generations for the ultimate family photos, to the look on her face during the mother-son dance, you'll want to look back on these touching photos for years to come. Your mom likely played a very important role in the wedding planning and while fathers of the bride often walk their daughters down the aisle, it's important to make sure mothers also feel special on the wedding day.
